OUR STORY

'Til Heaven is Our Home

In a suburb not too far away...

Rowland Heights is a suburb located 25 miles east of Los Angeles. It has a population of nearly 50,000, which is very unique in its demographic. The population is 58.6% Asian with the next majority being 28.8% Hispanic, which makes up for 87.4% of those living in this city!

We have a very specific vision to be a church that reaches the unchurched English-speaking community in this area.

Our goal is, not to compete with, but to cooperate with existing churches in the area to expand the Kingdom of Jesus in this area!

Our story is one of many sacrifices for the greater goal of reaching non-Christians with the gospel.

We used to be the "English Ministry" of "Beautiful Church" (A Korean Southern Baptist Church in Rowland Heights). But we became independent (with the encouragement of our mother church) to reach more people in our community.

We used to be two separate churches with two different Pastors. But we combined churches to reach more people in our community.

We desire to be a church that is growing by reaching non-Christians through our House Churches.

The Home Church exists as 5 House Churches that gather on Sundays for "corporate worship".
